Capabilities

At Kensey Nash, we have the unique ability to quickly react to surgeon-requested design changes within the sports medicine field. By leveraging our three major biomaterials platforms, we can optimize the design of our products to preserve the patient's native tissue and help reinforce the repair of tissue where defects exist.  

Our resorbable polymer technology is made into high strength, compression resistant plates and screws that are strong enough to replace permanent metal parts. These can also be customized with our proprietary Porous Tissue Matrix Technology to provide a porous scaffold that facilitates tissue ingrowth. 

Additionally, Kensey Nash's can formulate our collagen technology to make bone void fillers that facilitate new bone growth. Our extracellular matrix products are soft tissue regeneration scaffolds that provide reinforcement for tendon repair. From correcting bony defects to repairing damaged cartilage to re-approximating tendons and ligaments, our products are designed to assist the body in regenerating damaged tissue.
