ThromCat® Mechanical Thrombectomy Catheter System

The ThromCat® Thrombus Removal System uses the unique Heliflex™ technology to flush, macerate and extract thrombus with a vacuum strength of 700 mmHg. ThromCat® is easy to set up, compact and specially designed to ensure patient safety.

ThromCat® employs a helical stainless steel wire deployed in a 7F braided jacketed catheter. The helix rotates at 90,000 rpm, creating a vacuum at the catheter tip that removes thrombus. The soft a-traumatic catheter tip includes a specially designed metal enclosure for the cutting tip of the Heliflex™ system. The whole unit is self-contained and disposable.
